“Like Takaaful T&T Friendly Society, Imams are involved in promoting the welfare of Muslims and as such, complement each other,” TTTFS President Aziz Mohammed said at the recent launch of the Society’s Imams’ Network.

The Imams’ Network is open to members of TTTFS who are Imams, Assistant Imams and Khateebs (preachers), and according to Aman Hosein - Vice-President of the Society and Co-ordinator of the Imams’ Network - one of the main objectives is the furtherance of caring and sharing within the community. In this connection, Imtiaz Ali, TTTFS Manager reminded the Imams that the Society’s Funeral Benefit Scheme is accessible to the needy Muslims among us.

The Imams have all agreed to work towards creating greater awareness of the economic aspects of Islam within their various congregations.
